Our volunteers include our members and a few dedicated supporters. Our volunteers promote ESCOM and support the activities of ESCOM. As an all-volunteer organization, we rely on the energy, enthusiasm and dedication of our over 80 members who serve on the council, as committee chairs, club leaders, college liaisons, or on our communication, membership, and hospitality teams. Our volunteers bring their years of experience to ESCOM and along the way learn new things, make new friends, take on new leadership roles, and have the privilege to serve both the students of the College of Marin and our active adult community of Marin lifelong learners. How do I begin volunteering? If you are interested in expanding your horizons and volunteering for ESCOM, send us an email at escom@marin.edu and please include a note about how best to contact you, phone, email, or mail, and our Volunteer Team will be in touch with you to see if we can match your interests to our volunteer opportunities. If you want a short-term commitment, we have volunteers who are part of our hospitality team who work one to two hour shifts at our special events, member coffees, or other programs and college events.
